Were you lucky enough to hear the group The Heavy on Letterman last week? They blew the house down with their incredible, well, heaviness. You’ll hear them on worldbeatCanada radio this week!
Funnily enough, when I went to catch the performance on-line (Letterman is on way too late for this early bird), I found that CBS wouldn’t let me view it on their website. Naturally, I just nipped over to YouTube where a fan had already posted it. The internet means that, if you want to know something, somehow you will find it. Cal remarks on China’s effort to censor the web on the show.
Hear this week’s show at the player here, or at the worldbeatcanada.com website, here. Or, get the show at the iTunes store. You’ll hear music you won’t find anywhere else — like these fine artists:
- Pacha Massive – If You Want It
- Makana – A Touch of Deviance
- Myles Bigalow – Struggle to Success
- Mikey Power – What You Know
- Latin Bitman – Voce
- Apocalyptica – Helden
- Kottarashky – Mandra
- Cheb Tarik – L’Histoire
- Polkaholics – Who Stole the Keeshka
- Os Mutante – Teclar
- Trickbaby – Slipping Through Your Fingers
- The Heavy – How Do You Like Me Now?
- Aiwa – Oudaiwa
