Celt in a Twist Celtic Music podcast for October 20, 2013 — a salute to Canadian Celtic!

Saturday, October 19th, 2013

Right now we have two projects that are concerning us.  First, we want to get our in-progress laneway home ready for the Vancouver Heritage Foundation’s Laneway House Tour.  We’re chronicling that process in our other blog, Lady Who Lives Down The Lane.

Our other project is to get our podcasts up at iTunes.

In both cases we have to leave a lot of the work to others.  And that drives us crazy.

Let us know if you are having any problems downloading the show.  Here are the links to our RSS feeds:

Celt in a Twist

Worldbeat Canada Radio

I opened up our weekly newsletter on my iPhone and clicked on the links embedded there, and subscribed to the podcast that way.

We hope to be back on iTunes at their store soon. Until that happy day you can listen to this week’s show on the player, below. Or on the cloud, at Mixcloud. Or on terrestrial radio — Celt in a Twist on AM1470 Sundays at 4 pm Pacific Time and on Radio Laurier Sundays at 2 pm Eastern Time. But keep listening — and stay in touch! Click on the band names in our playlist to go to their website.

My podcast catcher (Instacast) had no problem last week getting the last few WorldBeat Canada shows from that link, but couldn’t download anything for Celt in a Twist other than the file name. As of right now (7pm MDT Sunday) its not finding the new WorldBeat Canada show.

Yes, this is driving us crazy. We are trying to get all the loose ends tied up, so thanks for sticking with us. I opened the RSS feeds on my iPhone and everything just fell into place. But of course, I know what the programs sound like anyway. Thanks for sticking with it, we’re working hard to get it cleared up.

iTunes isn’t picking up the URL for the RSS feed. 🙁

Yes, our producer Cal Koat was on the phone with iTunes for an hour yesterday. But no one seems to know why we can’t update our iTunes feed. We are working on it. If you are using an iPhone, I know if you open the links it will update your podcast feed with the new server. But we will have to keep looking for a solution to this problem. Thanks for writing, and for sticking with us!
